Tonight's word count of doom

Feeling: It's been one hell of a week. It was the last week of my regular film noir class. Next week is the final. It was the first week without a third of our workforce at paycheck job. You would think that means less work, but it only ever means more. I feel I've lost my writing circle, so I've fallen back into my usual one: Anne Lamott, Neil Gaiman, and Warren Ellis. No, I don't know them at all and I hope they never find out I exist. However, I read all their advice over and over so it feels like the support I would get from a writing circle.
